Eastern Ontario Bear Hunt

Hello Everyone. A group of friends and I are once again considering taking up a bear hunting trip to Ontario in the near future. We are located in the Buffalo, New York area and would like to keep our trip fairly close for a variety of reasons. We are looking for something 7 or 8 hours North preferably around Sudbury or North Bay, and are looking to see if anyone has any references for an Outfitter near this area. We are all experienced bear hunters, but have been out of the game for the better part of two decades and the camps we hunted out of in the 80s and early 90s are now closed. Chris at Pine Acres would fit the bill .

Have you considered Maine with your location? Just a thought.. No border crossings, passport ect..

I would have recommended Chris too but that’s not eastern Ontario.

See if Trevor Spooner is still operating out of Sudbury.

How about on the Quebec side of the border by a few miles? We have hunted quite a few times with Mikes Outfitters. Great people, very nice cabins , good fishing and he has a lot of baits to set you up with.
