Hadley Creek?!
Whitetail Deer

Looking to hunt this outfitter. Does anyone have any information on them? I'm seeing some questionable information about them on the internet. Doing my homework before I send them $20k (4Hunters x 5,000 = 20,000) Rut Hunt. Any helpful information would greatly be appreciated.
20 grand to hunt whitetails.... WOW!
PM me. I know a small operation in Iowa that will treat you right for 20K!
check the outfitters review.. there is one at the top of the page
That’s a hard pass for me…

Is this a troll post? ...check out their reviews here if not.
Run as fast and far as you can.
For $20K, you must be hunting the whole month of November.
I am hoping the 20k is a typo. If not, that is just insane.
Maybe he's paying for 4 people... OUCH!!
4 day hunt 3800, 5 day hunt 6000. Put in a little effort and you can lease a whole farm all year for 6000, get a really good farm for two full weeks for 6000, for a couple of hunters
Damn...... they've dropped a day on most hunts and really jacked up the price. You could go on a guided elk hunt at some places for that money
Myself and 2 friends hunted there in the early 2000's. PM me if you want more info.
Their reviews are horrible. One review on here said 3 camps had 45-50 guys total hunting! No friggen way. I hunt out of state every year, and I will only hunt where my crew is the only guys there, and we drop about 3 grand a man. Do your research man, that’s horrible!!!
If I remember right the Drury’s hunted some of their ground back in the 90’s.
Haven’t heard much about them lately but what I did hear was lots of hunters ran through in a season. That is never a good thing if you’re looking for a mature deer.
I am assuming when you say 20 Grand this is for multiple people. The only place I have heard of prices that high are in Texas on some of the famous ranches. To be honest I think you could find a lot better options than that place.
Sorry!!!! I am taking 3 other hunters with me, so 5k per.
LMAO! Reading some of your posts. That conversation went in the WRONG direction. lol... So, back to my original question... If you have hunted there, what was your experience? My gut is telling me this operation is set up to help pay for hunting land, and all of the deer shown on the website is mostly pic's of the land owners. But, who knows.
I’ve heard of the place, but no experience. Seems awfully expensive for a deer hunt that will probably have a bunch of other hunters.
Not including mine, one in 18 responses answered his question.
Try Shermoe Adventures Llc You will not be disappointed. 586 212 4319
"My gut is telling me this operation is set up to help pay for hunting land, and all of the deer shown on the website is mostly pic's of the land owners."
In my opinion, there is a certain amount of truth to both statements.
I hunted with HC about 25 years ago and it was pretty nice. Good hunting, good service, attentive guides and great food. Went back about 5 years later and it was completely different. Pretty much turned into an assembly line. I wouldn't go back. YMMV
I used to have dinner with those guys after doing outdoor shows. The guides talked about saving the big bucks for repeats and guys with the most money. Also shooting them themselves. I’d pass.
Thanks guy's. All I needed to hear. Unfortunately, too many outfitters operate like this.
Go with a bowsite sponsor that has had bowsiters hunt with them and can provide references. These outfitters get vetted pretty hard here.
For 5k I’d lease some land
Isn’t hat a normal rate for deer in a deer state like Iowa or Kansas or Illinois. Not out of line in industry is it.
Nowadays, ANYONE who hunts with Hadley Creek or Cody Carr deserves exactly what they get.
You do know this site has an outfitters review section? If you do know and checked them out, why would you even remotely consider them?
Someone has to pay for the 6 pickups, 2 JD tractors and spray buggy that they showcase on the website.
Hell $650 or so for an IA tag. Close to $500 in IL - no experience with these guys but wouldn’t think 5k would be out of line for a week rut hunt in. Good area. With that said I’d spend it on something I can’t hunt all the time. Been wanting to try spot and stalk Mulies for awhile!
Heartland Lodge is pretty much the same as Hadley Creek. If you go to HL, better just duck hunt. Deer hunt is just a money grab. Made the mistake once in the late 90's.
Hadley Creek runs 200+ hunters through their operation a year. WOW!
Good friend that went some years back and had nothing good to say. Buyer beware.
on hadley creek photo gallery .. 78 bucks where taken in 2023,,,,,,,,,
