If that’s in south Texas he’s older than that. If that’s in Edmonton he’s not that old.

Located in S.C .After looking over the Whitetail Groth chart I'm thinking he's 6.5 +. I believe I got me challenge next year now that I know he's roaming around.

No way to tell with just a picture, could be 3 or 7, maybe 5 or 6, probably not 8, 9 or 10. 4 is also a possibility

Agreed tough to tell by just a pic. He looks to be big for a SC deer. I guess he’s 4. Kill him and have a tooth aged that’s the closest guess to how old he is.

All we can say is it definitely looks like a mature buck. If you want specific age need to kill him and send in a tooth! Only other way is to have multiple years of history to have a more accurate guess.

I'd stick with 4.5. At 5.5 the chest and neckline look seamless and he begins to get (old man gut). dee By 6.5 the buck will begin to show a bit of a sway back, and his lower face will start showing a jowl.
(At least that's how I learned to field judge bucks)
