You see this? It’s concerning lower 48 grizzlies.

Typical progressive liars. Trust us - and let us “reestablish” a species to a certain level. Then when the agreed upon level is achieved, rather than keeping their word, it’s time to move the goal posts instead of delisting.
Follow the science, until we don’t want to and it doesn’t fit our crazy agenda.
When does all this nonsense end….
Right on Old School....nothing but a bunch of lying a----les
Did my own census in BC a few years ago. 9 day sheep hunt, 13 bears and one ram.
Bighorns are more endangered than grizzlies - change my mind.
In nw Wyoming we see more grizzlies than moose for sure.
I just read a thing today since they reintroduced wolves the census in 2022 there were an estimated 1250 wolves in the state of Montana alone... Now with the grizzly population profusely growing, there won't be any wild ungulates left to hunt...
I can hardly wait for the $6000 low odds hunting license. Another opportunity for Jimmy John.
Somehow Biden has put the brakes on delisting.
When does all this nonsense end?
It ends when the citizenry puts an end to a two-tiered justice sysyem...
Game and Fish releases statement on grizzly bear decision
CHEYENNE — Wyoming Game and Fish Department Director Angi Bruce has issued the following statement regarding the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s (USFWS) decision not to delist the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) grizzly bear. Management of the GYE grizzly bear will remain under federal control. The USFWS's decision not to delist the GYE grizzly bear is extremely disappointing and frustrating. The science is clear on grizzly bears: They are recovered in the GYE, and their recovery is a conservation success. It is very clear that grizzly bears should be under state and tribal management. Failing to recognize grizzly bear recovery in Wyoming is an insult to the Endangered Species Act and dismisses the extensive efforts of our wildlife managers to ensure their place on the landscape.
Despite all our efforts the USFWS has chosen to ignore science and keep grizzly bears listed. This is not a science-based decision but a decision based on the federal government not wanting to give up control. One of the greatest wildlife conservation success stories on earth is being undermined by a failure to recognize those compromises, collaborations and sacrifices that brought back grizzly bears from the brink of extirpation. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has spent millions of license fee dollars and thousands of hours to fulfill all the obligations required to demonstrate to the courts and USFWS that GYE grizzly bears are fully recovered. This decision shows that no matter what we do, the USFWS refuses to recognize the State’s efforts as well as the sacrifices and compromises made by the public who live, work and recreate in areas occupied by grizzly bears. This decision is unfortunate and disappointing for grizzly bears and for the people of Wyoming.
If you want to hunt grizzlies it’s simple. Draw an elk tag in northwest Wyoming. Go kill your elk. Hang the quarters and come back the next morning. Just like that you’re a bear hunter.
USFWS just denied Wyoming's proposed grizzly delisting... again.
And when bears have filled all of that expanded recovery zone, it will be expanded again… Once the government has control and builds up the bureaucracy, it is damn tough to ever get rid of all those employees…
This is a prime example of government waste. Hopefully, with a new administration in the Federal Government, this can be reversed. The USF&W needs a house cleaning.
Tavis - Unfortunately the house cleaning at USF&W that is much needed is so far down the priority list of necessary “house cleanings” it probably won’t ever happen. CIA, DEA, FBI, DOJ, on and on the list goes.
So...just like the Lib-activists why don't we over whelm the US F&W service with emails complaining about how they are not following their own polices? And how about getting a Federal Law passed to stop ANY law suits by the activists from de-listing when a species has recovered?
They did this with sea otters. They eat a third of their weight every day mostly in shellfish every day. They drew a line north and south on California’s coast saying none will be allowed to survive beyond these lines Well they lied. They even transported them beyond the line in the south to San Miguel island, a area loaded with crab. lobster and abalone. They claim they will never leave the island that opens them up to all the islands in Southern California.
