In 2024, if you had 18 PPs it was an 18% of drawing. I would think if you had 20 PPs it would be a guarantee?

As pointed out unit 76 was 18% draw last year with 18 points. That means 19 points was 100% draw. You should draw this year with 20 points of you apply. Good luck.

I consider myself in good shape for 72 but age is a factor. exactly why I need to burn points now and need a guide. Antbody know anything about guides in units 49 and 500

I was being a little selfish, I have been in the hat the last two years for 76. If you do decide to apply there I agree with the others, you will draw the archery tag.

Regarding 76: 4% with 16 Points drew in 2022; 5% with 17 points drew in 2023; 28% with 18 points drew in 2024. It appears that 20 points will get you in but it could be close! It just depends whether people that have been sitting on points decide to start using them before the 50% proposed reduction in point-draw tags for NR point holders.

Since he is looking for a guided hunt. What’s it take to draw 40 now days? If that’s not an option 76 would be my choice. I am assuming the guides in that unit will be using horses so no terribly long pack outs or hikes in.

Last year took 24 pts for a NR to draw 40 archery.

Yep. 20 points the year before that. 16 points 2 years ago. Insane

“Point creep” the Western applicants affliction. The cure use to be apply for a lessor unit, isn't the cure-all any longer.
