Any of you guys have "Fungeyes Glasses" to assist is finding sheds and mushrooms? I'd kinda like to try them but not dropping $80+ to do so, so was wondering if anyone can give a review:
"Fungeyes Ebony Glasses manipulate color allowing you to see light yellows, light greys and dull whites through natural ground clutter on the forest floor.
All Fungeyes Glasses have been scientifically engineered to enhance the contrast between mushrooms and sheds with their surrounding landscape. This is the difference. You will see that color manipulation sets our glasses apart from other glasses. We spent over two years testing and retesting many different lenses. Eventually finding the optimal filter color that makes Morel’s and Sheds pop and visibly contrast from the forest ground cover"
I skeptical and trend towards scam. But... a co-worker bought a pair of them and said she'd let me use them sometime. She's pretty excited about them.
We have a system that is way better than any glasses could be; I walk around looking for trees that I think are likely to have morels under them, the wife and kids follow me and find the shrooms that I walked over without seeing, then they give me chit for being half blind. It's a good system.

My sons got me the clip on ones for my birthday last year. I used them a little, very little, and one of the lenses fell off of the clip. My wife super glued it back on and did the other side as a preventative. I will let you know how they work in a month or so. Shed season in Wisconsin, for me, starts at the beginning of March. BC
