They need to find a way to keep that thing relevant. With iPhones sending free satellite texts is a new world. Great feature works well.

Pretty pricey.

I bought one last year and used it in September. Much faster than the inReach mini.
These are much more relevant than Bou’s texts.

Garmin needs to combine their Rhino (GPS + Mapping/Aerial Photos + Radio with position transmission) technology with their Satellite Communicator and add in the capability found in a modern 5G cell phone. Otherwise they can kiss their Satellite Communicator business goodbye since the cell phone satellite communication will become standard and easy to use in the next few years. It's not perfect right now but the issues now appear to be easy to fix.

Yea it looks like inreach will be obsolete in the next 2 or so. It was only a matter of time for our phones to do it all
