Are there any archery shops in the Marion/Walker county area that carry traditional equipment? I am willing to go as far as Tuscaloosa or Birmingham.

I certainly wouldn't discourage you from finding a local place to shop for your needs, but there are a few sponsors of this fine site that would probably have everything you want and would be happy to ship it directly to your front door.

Post questions if you need more assistance or info.

I order 90% of my stuff from 3Rivers, but a local shop would be a great place to hear about shoots etc.

Here's a link to the Alabama Society of Traditional Bowmen........

www.astb.net

A great group to join and the link should provide info for upcoming traditional archery shoots.

Check it out when you have time.

What chance do you think a trad shop would do in the Shelby County area? Online mail order too?

If you go to the Pre Spring Arrow fling at Tannehill park at the end of Feb there will be a bunch of vendors selling every type of trad equipment you could possibly want.

According to a few of the guys that work there, Grabows and Arrows in Fultondale will start carrying some Traditional Archery gear, to include some custom bows by SS Custom Archery (http://sscustomarchery.com/). They are located on Highway 31, just off the exit from Highway 65.
