Cottonwood Creek Deer/ Pig Appl Are Aval

I received an email from CDFW that the Cottonwood Creek Hunt is open for applicants. I myself am applying. Anyone ever applied or hunted the Cottonwood Creek? It's a deer/ pig hunt and only for one day. I'm wondering if it's that good of an area or just the demand that requires Cottonwood to have a limitation of how many days one can hunt. I'm really going for the hogs, but if a nice buck just come into my range, I'm not responsible for what happens.
