Never hunted or scouted it
I'd suggest looking at satellite images and finding habitat edge or wetland perimeters that might hold deer food from hardwoods like acorns & persimmon
I looked at it years ago and it seemed like there were small food plots or planted areas throughout the WMA
Do you live nearby? Best bet is start scouting now
Good Luck

look for edge areas were water ,live oaks meet the pine and turkey oak scrubh, find area with a lot of acorns dropping at the time you will be hunting,it might be turkey oaks or live oaks then, the rut goes from oct. thur feb. can see rutting activity just about any time.
