Hogs in Cloudcroft

I have been in el paso for almost 10 months and i have been to Cloudcroft 4 times to try to take a hog and havent even seen any sign. Lots of turkey, deer, and elk just no hogs. Does anyone have any good location that i might be able to find some hogs in the mountains? I asked the Ranger station and they said just go walk around they are everywhere... lots of help. If someone could help me out that would be great.
