Cant take connecticut anymore

Hello fellow Bowhunters, My wife and I are thinking about moving to Virginia.We are both in mid fities.I have been a avid Bowhunter my hole life. Also having own a archery shop for years.Sold it 6 years ago I have a good friend that lives in the Galax area and loves it.How is the hunting in that part of the state?

Kill data shows 2000 to 3000 deer taken per year around Galax. Should be good hunting. We have lots of Connecticuteans....uh...Connecticutians....uh.....people from Connecticut that live around the Lynchburg area.

I live in Galax area the hunting is fairly good.Public land gets a ton of pressure though.Who is your friend in the area?

sucks, nothing to hunt in VA at all.
