Nebraska Turkey Hunters should feel proud today as a young Nebraska girl took 1st Place in the 11 and under age division at the Grand National Turkey Calling Contest down in Nashville just this Sunday morning. My step-granddaughter, 11 year old Gracie Herman from Fremont, earned that honor. Its good to see our youth taking part in these kinds of outdoor events. And I know for sure that we will hear of her again next year when she moves up into the Junior Division. Its easy to say who will be doing my turkey calling for me this upcoming season. (Eat your heart out Micheels)
