I have never hunted Idaho, but I plan to this season. I will be taking advantage of the Disabled American Veteran opportunity that Idaho offers. I would like to hunt around Island park area. Any info is appreciated.

Be prepared to encounter a grizzly or two.

You will find grizzly sign. My cabin is there and I carry spray even if I am walking the dog near developed areas. Elk numbers aren't what the were a few years ago, thanks to the wolves and bears.
