Update: Checked the sheep forum, sounds like they pulled the sheep points for everyone during the draw. Sure got the blood flowing there for a few minutes!
Yea my goat and sheep points are gone right now. That only means they are doing the drawing.
Drawing a Desert Sheep tag is slim to none, so I do not even worry about it until it is posted.
As I was reading this I tried to check my PP's for Sheep. I drew an Archery Ram tag last year and applied for an Ewe tag second choice. So My App Pointhunter the Sheep dissapeared as a choice of tags I have on file? We will see what happens? It does make me know the App is active and not just going off info updated every week or more. Bob.
The suspense is certainly killer! In for tags for multiple species in multiple states with lots of points... Sure seems like they could all speed up their process! Antsy...

No surprise it takes so long. Every app is screened and entered into the database, which is cross-checked for PPs and WPs for each individual. Then they randomly assign an application number to each app. Then they reverse each application number. Then a random number generator assigns a new number to each number of the reversed application numbers, which turns everything inside-out again.
Then the final numbers generated by the random number generator are divided by the weighted points of each person, and a final ranking is determined.
It's a bit more complicated than having a blindfolded Victoria's Secret model picking numbers out of a golden fishbowl. :)

I think the Victoria Secret model picking numbers would do well at putting me to sleep. I have read it and it is like you said boring to the point of going to sleep. Bob.

I just checked by BD method and saw a 2015 - 561 RES MOUNTAIN GOAT code. Does that mean that I drew the tag? I think it does, but I don't want to get too excited yet.

Guy at the Dow says the 5oo numbers do not mean a thing. He says no one can know if the drew yet. My buddy call this morning. So I wonder who is right. I have a 561 goat tag and a 400 something goat tag for 2015. Guess we will wait.

It seems that everyone who gets a 500 code ends up with a tag in hand from my experience. So I think its pretty accurate. But I hope for my case (showing 400 codes) that something changes and I get a tag! haha
They are lying. They just don't want to let you know because of last years deer draw redo.
My moose points are gone now. Must be starting the draw.

All my codes are 400 series deer elk moose sheep etc...am I screwed across the board??? or as they come out they might change...but as of now I am thinking I am out of the sheep game...:-(

Kind of that is what I am thinking...I am in the penalty box for goat killed in 2013... but if I hear people getting 500 hits and mine stays 400 that means you screwed I think.
After getting my ram in 2004 it is physically painful not to draw....just one more time baby just one more time...

My Father-in-law killed his ram back in 1984.
My dad and I are applying for Ram tags #8 and #9 between us since 1988.
I just checked, and no 577 RES DESERT SHEEP in my license box...
Looks like I received the one archery ewe tag for S34.
If I'm lucky I will be able to join my lonely ram mount on the wall with a female!
Mine shows 400 goat app and below it shows 561 res. goat! I think I'm going goat hunting after 14 years!

I hear you Mat-man...but it doesn't lessen the pain..if somebody else has their head in a vice and I am getting bamboo stuck under my fingernails...still hurts hahahah.....
Of all the hunts I have done in my life...allot of hunts...my top two are in this order...Colorado Ram Colorado Billy all mountain hunts....nothing like the mountain hunts...and the animals like none other

I'm wAiting on the toughest thing I have yet to draw for -Elk. Moose, goat, a Ram and 3 sheep tags but in that same time no NW corner elk tag.. Few more days and hopefully 20 years waiting is over.
