IBA brethren – Put it on your calendar now to be part of the Grand Opening of the Koteewi Archery Range on June 6. The IBA has made a significant donation to this archery range and all IBA members and their family are invited to attend the gala. If you want to volunteer to support activities during the day, please go to the following link to register. On Saturday, June 6th, Hamilton County Parks and Recreation will proudly open Central Indiana’s premier archery destination - Koteewi Range Sport & Target Archery Center! The center’s range lanes, 3D trail, and pro shop will open to the public amid a flurry of FREE, family-oriented activities! Archery enthusiasts – bring your bows for FREE range time! New to archery? Come out and we’ll loan you a bow and let you shoot alongside seasoned archers…FREE…at this one-time only event! FRANK ADDINGTON JR., (“The Aspirin Buster”) and Guinness record-holder, RANDY OITKER will amaze guests with unbelievable demonstrations of archery precision shooting! Frank and Randy will be joined by Olympic medalist archer, RICK MCKINNEY. Frank, Randy and Rick will be available for photos and autograph-signing during the grand opening. FREE FUN & FESTIVITIES FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY! The day’s activities will include a disc shoot, climbing wall, bounce house, prize giveaways, raffle and much more! Food and drink will be available, with sale proceeds benefiting Backwater Legacies. Kona Ice will be on site selling their cool treats, too.
