Mule deer in unit 114-115

So I got a mule deer tag for units 114-115 this year. This is my first year hunting in Nevada . I took a scouting trip in late June to 114 and drove to the top of Mt Moriah but didn't see any active movement from deer. Only elk...
Anyone have experiance in these units for mule deer? I'm going in a few weeks for my first hunt .
