My son Hunter got it done spot and stalk on this nice buck today. 40 yard shot. Any one else? Kevin
Dang! Nice job to him. I really want to get one with my bow this year, just don't know a close public land to Omaha that has Pronghorn.
Great Job! Excellent Buck!
My son Zach with his spot and stalk sandhills goat.
My 13 year old daughter with her second buck ever.
My spot and stalk Nebraska antelope.
Spot and stalk Nebraska Mule deer.
Just ran out of last year's venison a few days ago, so this morning's doe arrived just in time. :-)
Bryce, You need to post your Dodge County Hog.
Connected with this buck Oct 17th.
38 yard shot on this spot and stalk sandhills mulie earlier this season.
Arrowed a good Tom while elk hunting on our place in late Sept.
Nice work everyone so far! Great seeing all the kids having success!
Killed this guy earlier this month. Spot and stalk, 34yd shot. Had actually missed him 3 hrs earlier the same morning.
More back straps added to the freezer this evening!
Took this buck on Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm. Taken with a Yellowstone Halfbreed Longbow 57#, Cedarsmith Compressed Shaft with an Ace 160 gr 2-blade broadhead. 15 yd shot, double lung pass through, 35 yd recovery. I was able to drive right up to it. Us old guys gotta love that.
Kindler I am glad to see you are still alive, congrats!
This doe walked toward my stand preoccupied by some turkeys that were milling around behind me. This allowed me to draw and make a 20 yd shot. Taken at 4 pm on 11-1-15.
Got this guy on the 6th. 12 yard shot. Double lung hit. I watched him go down 55 yards away.
Lucky enough to get the once-in-a-lifetime NE bull tag. Got him early October in lower part of the panhandle.
Going to head back to that area to see if I can make it a year of all years and fill my last tag with a Muley.
That would be a NE Slam. I just made that phrase up...
Here is my daughter, Hailey, with her first deer. She shot this Saturday morning 11/7. We had 3 does and 3 bucks out chasing in front of us at about 80-90 yards. She knew she had a green light to shot the first deer she had a good shot at.
As the deer got closer, she said she wanted to shot the one with a broken antler.
As it all came together, she pulled back her bow. The buck shifted to point directly at us as she came to fulldraw. She held back for well over a minute. I told her she had to let the bow down as the buck was not going to give her a shot.
The buck began walking towards us and stop under our tree. After a few minutes, he began to walk directly away from us. She pulls back again, the buck bounds a couple of steps and gives her a perfect 12 yard broadside shot. She whispers, "Can I shoot?", as I say "yes" she releases the arrow. She puts a great shot on him, he piles up after a 40 yard run!!!! I am one proud dad!!!!
Congrats to everyone, but especially to Hailey (and dad) on her first deer and to Shiras on his first longbow buck! Excellent!
Very nice animals. Congrats to all.
My son Zayne headed to the stand right after school on November 3rd and intercepted this buck while walking in. A couple grunt calls and the buck passed by him at 15 years offering a good broadside shot.
My son Jace harvested his first deer on the morning of November 8th. This buck came crossed on a side trail 25 yards from his treestand and he made a nice double lung hit that resulted in a 40 yard bloodtrail.
My bow season is over for the year. Shot at 15 yards on November 11th.
I'm from WI. Took my first trip to Nebraska and connected the first evening. I hope to go back again.
Here's my hero photo. I got an error posting this one and may have been too large, so the first one was from my cell phone.

Wednesday the 11th here in Nebraska!
Wednesday the 11th here in Nebraska!
Wow, got some good ones this year! Congrats to everyone so far. My son Nick killed 2 last weekend, so he is done. Here's his whitetail.
Dang, there are a couple monsters on here that make mine look small but I'm still proud of it. Here is the buck I got on October 24th. I rattled this guy in with two sheds I found last year and he came right in and offered me a 10 yard quartering away shot. He is now the biggest buck I've harvested with a bow. Look forward to trying to top it in the coming years!
My buddy Darren Kremer with his biggest buck to date.
Zach made it home for break and connected on this buck this morning. He was the only deer he saw today.
Hunter came home from college and also tagged a buck!
My son Evan tagged his first buck this past week! 20 yard shot from a ground blind.

Nice deer folks! Congrats! All I shot was a whitetail doe but my son shot his first deer. So a huge thanks to Nebraska for allowing a 10 year old the best weekend of his life.
See you in the Spring for turkey bow season.
Looks like a lot of folks had great seasons. Had a good one myself. Took this buck Sept. 11 at 16 yards with the 'Green Machine' Pronghorn longbow and an Ace Express head.
I filled my second buck tag in NE at 14 yards on Nov. 7, also with Pronghorn longbow and Ace Express head.
VERY slow season for me, but managed to kill another doe on December 30th.
2016 Bunny Blunters Invite, a great weekend as usual!!
AWESOME Pictures everyone! GREAT JOB!
