I'll get it started!!
Here's an antelope I shot Saturday mid morning. Made a final stalk and put an arrow into him at 30 yards while he was bedded.

Nice job! I am hoping to head out in the next couple weeks with my Bow. First time for me the kneepads are a great idea. I know last year rifle hunting they would be useful lots of prickly cactus where i hunt as well.

Knee pads are pretty much a must IMO. I left them in the truck the first day. Gotta be a little more careful when ya put that knee down at!

Muddawg. Yes it is a Heads Up Decoy. I've had pretty good success with it. The timing has to be right for them to come charging in but it does good as a confidence thing too.

Killed this guy after he worked a scrape last night. I have mixed feelings being done this early, but I still get to take my 14 year old son out to try to get him his first archery deer.

Tagged out east river. Headed west river in December for mule deer!!! 6x5 my best buck to date. Perfect double lung and got him on video with the wife in the tree besides me. Great way to spend Halloween as a couple!!

Nice deer guys! Things been slow east river for me(finally saw a shooter though)so headed west river to hunt river bottoms for a few days last week.Wow,they've had rain n the grass n weeds are high!!!Anyway got set up and zeroed in on some deer n then the rain came.The steep dirt roads down to the river became impossible gumbo n ended up having to head home leaving stands and a ground blind behind. Yesterday morn left home about 2 AM and was in a stand down there by dawn.Shot this big bodied 10 a few hours later n then the fun began.Face it,I'm getting too old to do this by myself.Wish his body had been smaller n horns bigger but.... Now back to work east river. Good hunting!

Sidenote to answer couple Qs:It is the exit hole showing.Hit was not a perfect angle,deer stopped while at full draw,but entry hole was just behind shoulder on other side. Deer jumped n went few paces,stood there about 5 seconds,coughed once,then fell over.Never found the arrow.

My wife also got her first deer with a bow in about 4 years. First South Dakota buck she got with her bow. Very exciting hunt. Grunted him in across an open field and she got a perfect broadside shot at 36 yards. Buck piled up within sight of our stand. Its amazing what a 20 week pregnant woman will set out to accomplish!!! Very proud of her.
