Dammit, lost a buck. Found it five days later 142 yards away from the shot. Yes, I measured it. Decomp was interesting however. Take a look at how fast nature uses a body when there is nothing to hinder it. First photo is five days after death. The second was seven. There was no apparent evidence of coyote or bear since body wasn't moved at all.
