Unit 36 elk?

We have elk hunted Unit 36 (Stanley) for almost 20 years but the elk population had gotten so bad that we moved to a new unit a few years back. The last few years in unit 36 was mostly a "hiking" trip ... not a "hunting" trip.
Has anyone hunted that unit in the past 3 years? Wondering if the unit has recovered since the big burn a couple of years ago.
