I haven't seen too many turkeys in the last 2 years at my camp . I used to see them various times thru out the year . Including deer hunting. But, the last two years not too much. Not sure if it was the last two rough winters or the coyotes are taking them out. Hopefully it's a mild winter and there will be a few for spring hunt.

Location means a lot regards to numbers, you may be in an area that does not maintain a good population of turkey.

There are A LOT of Turkeys in the Barre area. I've seen flocks of 20+ birds as recent as yesterday, the lack of snow this year has made a difference. The birds are able to feed just about anywhere in our area.
