Elk in units 14, 15, 16a, 17, 19, 20

I am reading Idaho's Elk Management Plan and am looking hard at elk in the Elk City and Selway Zones. Does anyone have any recent experience hunting either of these, and if so, what was it like? It looks like it's mostly the Nez Perce and Clearwater National Forests.

Units in the Panhandle Region (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) all look decent too, with numbers "increasing", however public access seems to be more limited.

Any input is welcome!
