way to go, that is a nice looking goat. Love the colors on them. I tried to hang a couple deer stands tonight and wished I was antelope hunting instead. There would be a heck of a lot less skeeters out there. They ate my butt alive. Congrats

Great job guys!
Were you with outfitters or DIY?
How were the numbers? A buddy and I tried a few years ago but the numbers were really low.
Thanks, Dwayne

My perspective this year is that there are more than last in the SW corner. But they seemed to be on private land

Dakota (or anyone for that matter), sounds like you are from the NW part of the state. Will be out there October 1st for archery mulie around Custer National Forest. I see rifle antelope hunting starts on that day, do you think we will have issues with rifle hunters or are they pretty spread out?
From: Dakota
27-Sep-16
I don't think you'll have much of a problem. First of all, there are not that many antelope rifle licenses available. Secondly, if you are up in the timber hunting mule deer you won't be in the same area down on the flats where people are hunting antelope. Who knows for sure about that. LOL. Best of luck

Shot this buck in the hills last Friday, got him on camera quite a bit this summer. Grossed right at 150". My biggest archery buck to date.

This was a special one for us. This young gentleman has to use braces and walking sticks to get around. We were able to get him about 9 feet up in a tree stand and look who walked by.

Proud of this kid! His first year getting to pull the trigger, with a mentor tag. Some of you might remember he got a turkey this spring with his bow. Shot an antelope in October with a rifle. Then on Sunday night, in those cold temps, was able to shoot this doe. We went back Monday morning and found her.

Finally was able to connect on an archery buck. Late season none the less. This wide buck and a narrow super tall buck were in hot pursuit of a hot doe that just happened to all take place under my stand. Attached is a link to the hunt if you would like to take 10 minutes and watch it. 34 yard shot, 40 yards to recovery. Love watching them fall within sight.
