Anyone hunting new London NH???

Hey guys I'm from CT here for a few days for my anniversary with my wife and staying at one of the inns, I'm not hunting just never been up this way before and noticed what looks like some nice wood patches and fields. I drove By them a few times during hours that there should be decent movement and haven't seen a deer yet where im certain I would have in CT. Is the population pretty low around here? Or am I looking in the wrong areas? Anyways just curious hope everyone has a great season.
