2017 Eastern WY Mule Deer Hunt

We currently hunt in SD, on the far Western edge. We've been bowhunting there for the past 6 years, have pretty good success (5 Bucks, 2 does between 4 guys). A combination of public and private land. We are considering a WY Archery Mule Deer hunt in 2017, in areas 6 or 9. Reason being is we have a place to stay in SD. Can we expect a good hunt (decent deer numbers, below average hunter pressure)?

I doubt that you would have any problem with hunting pressure at all during the early archery season. However, there is very little public land if you look at a map showing land ownership in those two units. The little bit of public land is along the border of SD though, but generally doesn't extend more than a couple square miles from said border. I have no idea if you could have a good hunt as far as deer numbers there go.
