I drew the Burro Mountains January hunt for mulies this year. Only the second time in about 13 or 14 years applying for it.
I'm excited to say the least and am wondering, for those who might spend alot of time in or around that part of 23, how's the deer herd looking? Are the deer numbers looking pretty good? Decent sized bucks hanging around? I'm just wanting to know what the deer herd is looking like in the Burros.

That's a nice tag. I always see a bunch of deer when I'm javelina hunting (and i see javelina when I'm deer hunting) down there. The PJs can be pretty thick and there's wild and domestic water in the mountains. Outside the mountains, its dryer.
