Wyoming deer unit 79?

Been seeing this unit having leftovers and have thought about considering it over general. Anybody ever deer hunted the unit?

Numbers are better in the Snowies. Good bucks if you put in the time. With price increase coming I would wonder if any tags will be left over this year.

Sorry , looks like you're a res. Management on the Saratoga side has had some good results. I might look to the western side along the BLM river lands. Pennock can be steep and nasty but bet some decent bucks are there. Talk with Will, biologist for Saratoga.

Thanks Wytex ! Didn't think of the river stuff but was definitely eyeing Pennock, but have never hunted it. I put the unit as my second choice in the res. draw so if I don't draw my first choice I should have a shot at it n will go scout in august
