Roving and stump shooting in ohio

May have asked this before.what's the law on roving and stump shooting in public hunting areas in Ohio.mainly darbydale and deer creek.always scout there,but never with bow in hand.should I call odnr,thanks,dan

I would absolutely contact the ODNR , prior to going "stump shooting" on public land .
Personally I would not like to try and explain to an energetic ODNR Officer, why I had a hunting implement in hand on State Game Land out of season.
Perhaps he / she may be understanding of "stump shooting" But , ????
