I was in Show low a few weeks ago taking care of my daughter who had surgery. Run into a guy at Darbi's restaurant. We got to talking about hunting. He asked if I would like to do some shed hunting in unit 1. He told me he goes in mid to late March. To avoid snakes. Is that a good time.
