Trail cams on public land

Was curious if anyone knows if trail cams are allowed on conservation land.

Yes I called both a CO & property manager they treat them same as someone leaving a stand but no date restrictions. Of course this could vary depending on the property. Generally they don't care.

Thanks for the reply. They weren't allowed when i lived in Missouri was hoping they were here.

I leave my cams out all year on conservation land. No problem. Just have to lock them to the tree.

I have done it here in Illinois, but hided them well, because I have had them stolen too.
