I am coming to Montana to elk hunt at the SE edge of the Lewis & Clark range just west of Judith Gap in late September and was curious if there are any wildfires close to the area that might affect the hunting? Any information anyone can supply would be greatly appreciated.

The best place to look is on a site called Inciweb. It will tell you about all of the fires in Montana, and show where they all are on a map.
