Looking into taking my 14 yr old daughter out antelope hunting. Unsure how the regs read, is she able to use a crossbow? Thanks for any info.

She can use a crossbow if she has a gun tag, but if she has an archery tag she will be required to use a vertical bow pulling at least 30# shooting a 26# arrow weighing at least 275gr with a fixed blade broadhead. If you choose a mechanical she will need to be pulling 40#. She can use a crossbow with a special permit after certifying a physical disability with your physician if that is the case with your daughter.
