Anyone ever hunt them? I got this pic on a trail cam I have set up for deer.

They range around a lot, I have a rancher friend that seen a few in the summer then could never find them again when season opened

You can hunt them now. 9/1-1-31. It is a C tag so can get an unlimited amount on top of your normal elk tags.

I buy the tag every year i see elk every year never gotten one though always on land i cant hunt or before or after season opens. Last year in mid sept i had a nice bull 25 yards from the public fenceline this year 2 weeks before season opened same bull or at least related to him on public but not in season.
