NM Unit #15 cow elk

How's the Elk Cow population or any information down in 15 this year? My wife has a muzzleloader hunt in December. Haven't had an opportunity to make it down there yet. Planning a trip in the next few weeks. Two years ago during my 2nd muzzleloader hunt saw about 300 cows in 5 days. Thanks.

I thought the population was up some from previous years.

You will not have a problem in 15 on the late muzzleloader hunt. Population is strong Good luck .
