3 years old?

The last few years I have hunted for deer 3 years old or older. This year I was going to bump that to 4 years but haven't been able to locate any. Are both of these bucks 3?

I am not sure. Not sure how you can accurately tell unless you actually see him year after year. If he is 3 now just wait another year. You have waited this long. JMO

That would be my estimate based on body characteristics. I’ve got a few I’ve been watching. 3- 3yr old and 1-4 yr old. We didn’t have good Mast last year and antler growth didn’t seem to be good this year. We have plentiful mast this year which I hope will translate into better antler growth next year so I’m planning on giving them a pass this year
