I've been working evenings and haven't had a chance to hunt yet. I'm finally getting day to hunt, but what is daybreak starting? I know the charts all have "sunrise", but it's starting getting light way before sunrise.

Unless it's changed, legal shooting time is 1/2 before sunrise. I just Google "sunrise time" where I'm going to hunt and plan on 30 minutes earlier for daybreak.

It really wasn't an issue of when could I legally shoot something. I had a couple folks tell me it's about 6:00 or so currently, so I'll make sure I've found a tree and settled in before that.

I do what Woodstick does. I know lots of hunters break that law.

It's light enough to see around 630 right now in southern wv. You'll be good to get settled in before 600.
