Stuck a monster at 40 yards this morning. Shot looked good, bright pink bubbly blood was pouring out. At 11:00 AM couple of friends came out to help track, and we trailed him 400 yards, then we saw him stand up and trot off. We backed out and decided to meet back there at 3:15 PM. I shot him at 8:00 AM. Is that long enough?

Maybe, but I would wait until morning. You might lose some of him to coyotes though. He might live if you only got one lung. pushing him might kill him, but he probably won't leave much trail.

Thanks, for the help!

Had to get him out tonight, someone is hunting the neighbors tmrw, which is where he went. No blood after the bed. Found another bed 100 yrds from where the last one was. Then he started bleeding again. We found another bloody bed 25 yrds from that one and he was laying 25 yrds from there. My biggest buck to date with a bow! I couldn't be happier!
