I connected with this buck AM at 730 on state land bow only. He was cruising nose to the ground....I had this buck on cam...Only a few day time pics....I hit him low in the heart ...he ran 40 yards ....I thought it was at 30 but really he was at 37 which resulted in the low shot....his heart was in half....I used a rage 2 inch....
depending on how you count points he is a 6 or a 8 pointer...he has 2 nubs you can hang a ring on....

Congratulations, nice buck, I'd say eight point.
Is that an entrance hole on his left front leg, in the picture? You say the heart was split in two, do you suppose the blade pivoted on that leg bone as the blades opened? Nice looking blood trail.

Thats the entrance hole ..the leg was back when it hit. I think it deflected up a bit.....glad i had a 2 inch blade and some luck
