Grade Your 2017 Whitetail Season

I didn't deer hunt there this year. I'll be down there in the next week or two for a few months snowbirding. Reading the grades for the few folks that reported in, it sounds like a bad year. My buddy that hunts the Tiger Bay area units got one small buck. He has been hunting that area since he was a little kid and knows most all the nooks and crannys. He had some good cam bucks but they disappeared. Those units get hit hard. Alot of swamp and folks walk the dry land pushing the deer around or back into the swamps and they go nocturnal. The two deer a day limit might need to be looked at.

2017 was a decent year for me. Tiger bay is a good spot. Didn't get any deer but had some good pics of some doe and a small buck. Maybe your friend took that small buck. There's a sweet spot I hope to get to first this year.
