Idaho rookie here. Wanted to try your great state in 18 so I got a beaverhead elk tag. Will likely head up for spring bear to look around but plan bear for furhter north. Anyone have any insight on September elk south of Salmon in 30 and 30a?

What state are you coming from??? I am a non-resident with friends in Salmon and have been hunting the Sept archery elk season for several years now. Mostly in either the Salmon or Beaverhead areas. You can email me directly at [email protected] if you wish.
