turkey hunting near old lyme

I am traveling from Alaska to Connecticut for opening day of trout fishing. I was wondering if there was any spring turkey hunting areas near by old lyme. Thanks

Mike, The opening day for Trout fishing is April 14th, opening day for Turkey is April 25th.

Yes, there is nehantic state forest. in Lyme, There is my back yard in east Haddam I have a flock of 40 hanging out but they wouldn't be much of a hunt, you could grab them with your hands. There is cockaponset state forest which is a few towns away from Old Lyme.

Best place to find a big turkey is caes:).
