Actually Shawn it has worked very well, 5 of the 18 are out of state and only hunt during the muzzle loader and rifle season Northern Zone that leaves 13 people sharing 770 acres. Some only hunt north some only south some gun some bow some both. A few guys are older and get out maybe twice a year. The point I guess I am making the woods are never overcrowded.

How are deer #'s, age structure ??

I am not totally sure we just picked up the lease last summer and no one has done an inventory. I know one member took a nice 9pt and the area is noted for large deer. It is next to state land and timber company properties.

How many properties comprise the 770 acres?
What is the total annual lease cost? Is it a written lease? What is the term?

There are 3 properties 2 Northern zone 125 acres in Taberg 363 acres in North Bay and 1 in southern zone 272 acres in Georgetown. The cost is $600 a year with a $100 a year first year initiation fee. Club is limited to 18 members, Currently five are out of state and only hunt Northern Zone Muzzle loader and opening of rifle NZ.

Blatch the lease is written it is mostly with Farms East been in existence for over 20 years. Last year the lessor approached us and asked if we wanted to take the Georgetown property. We swapped Morgan Hill for Georgetown. we renew every year.
