Camping Recommendations

Looking for recommendations on a place to camp. My cousin and I are planning on taking his boys camping this summer while I'm up visiting. We'll be back and forth between Freeland and Metamora, so preferably somewhere within an hour or two of one of those. Looking for something quiet with a "woods" feel. Fishing is a plus. Thanks.

If you have a Michigan Gazeteer you can see where the camping areas are at. Most state land to the north of Freeland (or US 10) offers alot of primitive camping options. The below DNR link has some info.
