You guys seeing any winter kill in your area? Either on big game, or upland? Wondering if any sheep herds had any winter kill also?

Nothing here by my place around bozeman yet. Planning on hitting the hills this week so we’ll see if I see anything.

I've seen a definite uptick in roadside kills this winter. Makes me think the harsh winter had something to do with them being by the road so much.

Reports are coming in now from all over, especially the east side of the state, and it isn't pretty... :-(

Deer Lodge here, talked to a rancher today and he is finding dead deer all over his place, both whitetail and muley.

A friend of man has found 3 cats and 1 wolf kill in unit 100. It just dumped 2 feet west of Kalispell and I have a feeling the deer and elk are having a ruff go at it.

It's bad in the Root...this old girl almost made it...just last week... So many dead scavengers haven't touched many.
