New to bow hunting

Brand new to bow hunting, well hunting in general. I live in Southern California and looking for a good place to learn how to shoot and what equipment is needed. Any suggestions welcome

Where in SoCal? What equipment to use depends on you. Age, height, target/hunting, etc. Welcome to SoCal btw. Lots of opportunity for archery enjoyment whether target shooting or hunting.

I'm new to this site but I've been lurking on it for a couple of years. I live in SoCal also and can point out 2 ranges that are open 7 days a week. 1 is free (Santiago Park Archery Range) and the other is very inexpensive (Mile Square Park Archery Range....$3 weekday and $5 weekends although there is an annual pass available for $60).

Not sure where in SoCal, but I would look at Oranco Bowmen Club.....five star range. It's in Chino.
