i always enjoy a glimpse at these beauties. i had one come into my fawn distress call this year, it was amazing to watch the cat creep in crouched low to the ground, carefully placing every step, a true hunter.

On an Elk call thread, Larry Hatfield was talking about calling in Cougars on a part of the Rez where they’re too numerous. Said he and a partner had six come in at once one time...
That’d pucker you up, with just a longbow along..

The DEEP is asking for people to report bobcat sightings and trail cam pics so they can get a better idea of their population

Bobcats are everywhere. I see them at least once a week hunting or not. Had one run off the turkey I was calling to this morning. This guy was in my back yard sneaking up on a squirrel.
We really need a season on them here in CT.
