My sister in law is looking for a guided hunt for her husband for there 20th anniversary. He can do any weapon. Price is an issue as they have 6 kids and he is a pastor and doesn't make a ton of money. Great guy who would be happy with a 130 incher or up I think. I want him to have a great time and a real chance at a good deer. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any direction.

While I do not have any names, I'd suggest looking in Texas. Many of those ranches sell cull hunts that might work well for him.

Whitetail or mule. Nebraska has some real good deer in the sandhills and some reasonable prices, tags over the counter. Went on a rifle mule deer last year with my brother, all total under 4000 and almost guaranteed. PM me is interested. 140-170 s either one.

Kansas public land with OTC tag? I think the tag is like $600. Cheap motel it!

I would look into some outfitters in Missouri.
Pretty sure Kansas is all draw... I just drew a tag there...

I have hunted Missouri for their Muzzleloader season the last two years. Pay attention to where the EHD outbreaks have taken place. Avoid areas that have had an major outbreak 3 years or less. Mature buck numbers will be greatly reduced in those areas.
I would be going again this year but family plans are getting in the way.
Best of luck.
