Anyone know what happened with the proposed early start? Is it now Oct 1st?

They tabled the meeting till October 2nd.....just kidding. I have not heard anything BC.

The minutes of the meeting from April 10, can be found at the Site; Fishery and Wildlife ... but no mention of the issue that I could see.

Here's what Marc Folco wrote in his column in yesterday's New Bedford Standard-Times:

At its May meeting, the Fisheries and Wildlife Board indeed voted to extend the archery season by having it begin two weeks earlier in Zones 10–14. It’s anticipated that the new regulation will be in place for this fall, but stay tuned to future Open Season columns for confirmation.

I would think it couldn’t start until 2019, because the 2018 book is already printed. Would cause quite a bit of confusion for 2018 at this point probably.
