So if I am reading that correctly, first choice apps went from 185k in 2017 to 212k in 2018, up by ~27k or roughly 14.5 %. A maximum potential increase of ~27000 additional preference points in the system, although I don't have the time to do the real math.

Looks like some units had the tags drastically reduced. Not sure why, very strange.

I get that, but where did he get it? I'm only seeing up to 2017 on the CDOW website.

Click on the 2017 report, then change the "7" to an "8" in "2018" and refresh your browser.

You have to change it in the address bar at the top. Elk doesn't work yet.

Just gave myself a rush! Was looking at my points and stuff and realized I hadn't applied for fall turkey points. So I applied, while watching a movie, then I proceeded to check my email and there was a new email from cpw, already had totally forgotten that I just applied for turkey points! Adrenaline rush city then a massive crash!

As I thought, the number of resident applicants with 0 points only went up about 3k year over year. The non residents saw a large increase in 0 point applicants. 31k vs 19k for non resident. This was for deer.
Assuming I can read a simple spreadsheet...which is debatable! Haha

Ok.. its apparent the 3rd party draw system is not 'communicating' with the CPW site and updating preference points. So, if your credit card was hit for a charge and you received an email stating you were successful, then you drew.. if those things didn't happen, then you didn't draw. My card was hit for elk, about 5 hours later I received an email stating I was successful, my elk tag is now showing on my "active" list, but my points are still the same. I am sure the points will update within a few days.

damn Cabelas card doesn't show pending charges. I know I'll be sitting with a list B elk tag, but it's the deer tag I haven't drawn yet that I'm anxiously waiting for.
